Oracle is retiring GloriaFood on 30 April 2027 (Oracle's FAQ, March 2026). Paid services may stop earlier, when their last renewal runs out.

GloriaFood alternative for restaurants in France: keep your menu, keep your website

Published by ARDOIZA, the trading name of Hamar Azzi, sole trader

ARDOIZA is a commission-free table booking and takeaway ordering service for restaurants and businesses registered in France (SIRET required). GloriaFood ends on 30 April 2027, according to the FAQ published by Oracle (version 1.0, March 2026). ARDOIZA automatically imports your GloriaFood menu: categories, dishes, prices, options, photos, discounts and hours. It then takes over table booking and collection orders (click and collect). You pay a fixed monthly price with no commission, and hosting is in France with OVH. ARDOIZA does not do delivery.

GloriaFood ends on 30 April 2027: what Oracle says

Oracle's FAQ (‘Oracle GloriaFood EOL Frequently Asked Questions’, version 1.0, March 2026) says:

  • All GloriaFood products and services end on 30 April 2027, along with the partner programme. This covers online ordering (free and paid plans), the POS and Oracle Payment.
  • Oracle no longer signs new direct contracts with restaurants. Partners can still sign up restaurants until 30 April 2027.
  • Paid services can only be renewed until one month before 30 April 2027. A paid service may therefore end earlier, when its last renewal runs out. Oracle's example: a renewal on 3 March 2027 ends on 3 April 2027.
  • The free plan stays available until 30 April 2027, with no extension.
  • After expiry, termination or cancellation, a restaurant has 30 days to retrieve its data.

The details, with a timeline to follow, are on our page GloriaFood shutting down: dates and next steps.

What ARDOIZA imports from GloriaFood, and what it doesn't

A wizard runs the import. It first shows a preview with counts: categories, dishes, photos, option groups, discounts, hours. Nothing is written yet at that stage. Allow a few minutes for a menu of about fifty dishes; photos take the longest.

Not imported:

  • your past orders and bookings: the wizard cannot read them, so export them from GloriaFood before your service ends;
  • delivery, delivery discounts and free-item discounts;
  • meal deals, dishes limited to certain days, options ticked by default;
  • per-dish VAT, which you set yourself.

Allergens arrive as ‘not specified’: fill them in dish by dish before going live. Customers are imported separately, from a CSV file exported from GloriaFood.

The import creates no duplicates: you can stop and resume it. ‘Undo this import’ removes only what the import created. A downloadable report lists what was imported, what was skipped and why. The full walkthrough is in our guide Migrate from GloriaFood.

Don't wait for GloriaFood to close: the wizard reads your menu at GloriaFood. Once the service has stopped, the import is no longer possible.

You have a WordPress site: keep your pages and buttons (Basic, €29 a month)

The wizard opens in WordPress when you activate the Ardoiza Click & Collect plugin. It looks for your GloriaFood account in your pages, posts, menus and widgets. If it can't find it, you paste the address of the page where your customers used to order.

The plugin picks up the GloriaFood shortcodes already in your pages. Install it, paste your key, and your pages show the new menu without any re-editing. Your old buttons now open ARDOIZA.

On Basic, your orders, bookings and customer list stay on your own site, with your own host. The plan includes a licence for one site.

You don't have a website: ARDOIZA builds yours (Essential, €40 a month)

Enter your old GloriaFood site ID in your customer area: your menu is imported when the site is created. You choose your address under my-ardoiza.fr, and the site is ready in a minute with home, menu, order, book and contact pages.

We apply security updates and back up your database and images every night, encrypted. It is not a custom-built site: the layout is the ARDOIZA template, with your name, colours, logo and photos.

To take it live, complete your legal notice, publish it, then click ‘Publish my website’.

Several restaurants: the Pro plan (€89 a month)

Pro combines the hosted site and the WordPress plugin. It includes:

  • a licence for three sites;
  • up to three venues in one account;
  • sales and booking statistics;
  • priority support.

Your hosted site can also answer on your own domain name, for example www.your-restaurant.com.

Suggested timeline before 30 April 2027

  1. Now. Create your account: it's free, with no bank card. Then choose your plan: the 30-day free trial of the paid plans gives you time to run the import on your own, at your own pace.
  2. Before your last GloriaFood renewal. Run the import, check your menu, fill in allergens and VAT, and place a test order.
  3. At the same time. Export your customers (‘Reports’, ‘List view’, ‘Clients’) and your order history from GloriaFood.
  4. Once your menu is right and the test order has gone through. Deactivate the GloriaFood plugin yourself. The wizard never does it for you.
  5. After your GloriaFood service ends. You have 30 days to retrieve your data from GloriaFood. Importing your menu is no longer possible.

Frequently asked questions

Is GloriaFood really shutting down, and when?

Yes. According to Oracle's FAQ (v1.0, March 2026), all GloriaFood services end on 30 April 2027. Paid services may end earlier, when their last renewal runs out.

Will I lose my menu?

Not if you import it before the shutdown. The wizard reads your menu at GloriaFood, so it can't import it once the service has stopped. You fill in allergens after the import.

Do my GloriaFood buttons keep working?

On your WordPress site, yes. Pages that carried the GloriaFood button or module are recognised and kept, and the button now opens ARDOIZA.

Can I keep my domain?

Yes. The plugin installs on your current WordPress site (Basic and Pro). On Pro, your hosted site can also use your own domain. On Essential, the site uses an address under my-ardoiza.fr.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, the Menu plan: your menu online with allergens and a QR code, plus booking requests by email. No bank card required. It doesn't include online ordering or the app.

Does ARDOIZA do delivery?

No. ARDOIZA handles collection orders and table booking only.

Who can sign up?

Businesses registered in France: a SIRET number is required at sign-up.

Can my customers pay online?

Yes, if you switch it on, on Basic, Essential and Pro. Payments go into your own Stripe account, and ARDOIZA takes no commission.

Where is my data hosted?

In France, on OVH servers in Gravelines. On Basic, your orders, bookings and customers stay on your own site, with your own host.
