Oracle is retiring GloriaFood on 30 April 2027 (Oracle's FAQ, March 2026). Paid services may stop earlier, when their last renewal runs out. See the GloriaFood alternative

Frequently asked questions

Published by ARDOIZA, the trading name of Hamar Azzi, sole trader

ARDOIZA is a commission-free table booking and takeaway ordering service for restaurants and businesses registered in France (SIRET required). Here are straight answers to the questions restaurant owners ask us: commission, online payment, the 30-day free trial, website and domain name, the app, data and the end of GloriaFood. Each answer starts with the essentials and, where one exists, links to the page that covers the topic in detail.

Plans and prices

How does 0% commission work?

ARDOIZA is a fixed monthly subscription: we take no commission on your bookings or orders, however many there are and whatever their value, and we never handle the money. All prices: the details of the ARDOIZA plans.

Can I try it before I commit?

Yes. Creating an account is free and needs no bank card: that is the Menu plan, with your menu online, its allergens and QR code, and table booking requests by email. The ARDOIZA Pro app is not part of it: it comes with the paid plans. One free trial per account, on the Basic, Essential or Pro plan of your choice: 30 days free, bank card required, nothing charged before the end of the free trial, cancel at any time. Your card is entered on our provider's secure payment page and nothing is charged that day; at the end of the free trial, the first month is charged automatically unless you cancel beforehand, and we remind you by email 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before, with the date and the amount. All plans are commitment-free and can be cancelled at any time. The trial in detail: our plans and their terms.

I have several restaurants. How does that work?

With the Pro plan, one account manages up to 3 venues: each has its own name and can have its own hosted website, and you switch between them in your customer area. The Menu, Basic and Essential plans include a single venue.

What if a payment fails?

You have fourteen days to sort it out from your customer area, and everything is restored as soon as the payment goes through. After seven days, your licence is no longer validated: the app no longer receives your orders and your website no longer accepts online orders or bookings. After fourteen days, your account returns to the free Menu plan: invoices that remained unpaid are cancelled, and you keep your account, your menu and your invoices. A hosted website is kept for thirty more days, restored as it was if you take a plan with a website again, then deleted after a full copy you can download for thirty days.

Payment and gift cards

Can my customers pay online?

Yes, if you switch it on, in the Basic, Essential and Pro plans. Your customers pay by bank card on Stripe's secure payment page, into your own Stripe account, opened in your name under a contract between you and Stripe: you link it in a few minutes from your customer area, or from the plugin's “Online payment” screen. For each website, you choose: online payment off (paid on the spot at collection), left to your customers' choice, or required. You can also ask for a deposit when a booking is made, fixed or per guest, from a number of guests you set or for private hire. If you decline or cancel a paid order or a booking with a deposit, your customer is refunded automatically. ARDOIZA takes no commission and never collects your customers' money; Stripe's fees are yours to pay, and payouts, manual refunds and disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard.

Can I sell gift cards?

Yes, with Basic, Essential and Pro, at no extra cost. Your customers buy a card online, paid directly into your Stripe account with no ARDOIZA commission, and the recipient gets the code by email. You redeem it at the counter, from your customer area or the ARDOIZA Pro app. You choose the amounts, how long the card is valid (12, 18 or 24 months) and how it is used: in a single use with no change given (the default), or in several uses. The card cannot yet be used to pay for an online order.

Website and domain name

Do I need to rebuild my website?

No. Your pages, your buttons and your customers stay. The WordPress plugin picks up the GloriaFood buttons already in your pages: install it, paste a key, and your pages show the new menu without any re-editing. Step by step: migrate from GloriaFood.

I don't have a website. Is that a problem?

No. With the Essential and Pro plans, ARDOIZA builds your website and hosts it: Home, Menu, Order, Book a table and Contact pages, in your name and your colours. You choose your address, the website is ready in one minute, and there's nothing to install. To put it online, complete your legal notice, publish it on your website, then click ‘Publish my website’ in your customer area. The plans with a website: Essential and Pro, prices and features.

Who hosts my website?

We do. Your website runs on our WordPress cluster, alongside those of other restaurant owners: we apply security updates for you, outside service hours when they are planned in advance, and we back up your database and images every night, encrypted. You have no server, no file access and no plugins to keep an eye on.

Who owns my address?

Your address ends in my-ardoiza.fr, a domain we own: it is assigned to you for as long as you subscribe, and it is yours alone during that time.

Can I keep my domain name?

Yes. If you already have a WordPress website on your own domain name, the plugin in the Basic and Pro plans installs on it and nothing changes for your customers. With the Pro plan, your website hosted by ARDOIZA can also respond at your own domain name, for example www.your-restaurant.com: you create a single record with the provider that manages your domain, then everything is automatic, security certificate included, usually within a few minutes, and up to 24 hours. Your email addresses do not change. With the Essential plan, it is served at its address ending in my-ardoiza.fr.

Do my customers see ARDOIZA?

The website carries your name, your colours, your logo and your photos. A single discreet line at the bottom of the page says it is powered by ARDOIZA. Nothing else: no banner, no advertising, and no account to create to order from you.

What happens if I stop?

Your website is first deactivated, and your address stays reserved for you for thirty days: switching back to a plan with a website restores it as it was. After that, the website is deleted. Just before deletion, a full copy of the website is made: you download it from the Copies of my website page in your customer area for thirty days. Nothing is erased before that period is over.

App

Is the mobile app included?

Yes, at no extra cost, in the Basic, Essential and Pro plans. The ARDOIZA Pro app runs on iPhone, iPad and Android, and you sign in with your customer area login details. Your phone rings for every order, even when the app is closed, and keeps ringing for up to 35 minutes until the order is handled, except during your quiet hours. You accept with a preparation time, decline, mark the order as ready and then collected, confirm your bookings and flag dishes that have sold out. You download it from the App Store or Google Play.

Data and hosting

What happens to my data?

It stays yours. We don't sell it, and we only use it to run your website. A website hosted by ARDOIZA loads no third-party fonts and no advertising trackers, and no third-party tracking plugin is installed on it. Like all our websites, it goes through Cloudflare's network, which filters traffic before sending it on to our server: our privacy policy explains this in detail.

Where is my data hosted?

Your account and the websites we host are in France, on OVH servers, and proof of hosting is provided on request. With the plugin alone (Basic plan), your orders, your bookings and your customer list stay on your own website, with your web host. Traffic to your customer area and to the websites we host goes through the network of Cloudflare, a US company, which filters it before passing it on to us: our privacy policy explains this. No advertising trackers.

How do I get everything back if I leave?

From your website's dashboard, you can already export your customers, their consents and your bookings as CSV files. From your customer area, you download your invoices and, in My profile, an archive of your account data (profile, subscription, invoices, support requests). For a website hosted by ARDOIZA, the Copies of my website page in your customer area gives you a full copy of the website, in open formats: pages, menu, orders, bookings, customers, settings and photos. For any other data, we hand over the export within thirty days of a written request.

GloriaFood and delivery

What happens when GloriaFood shuts down?

Oracle ends GloriaFood on 30 April 2027, according to its FAQ published in March 2026 (version 1.0). Paid services may end earlier, when their last renewal runs out; renewals are accepted until one month before 30 April 2027. You can bring your menu across right now, on your own and at your own pace. Dates and timeline: GloriaFood shutting down, what to do.

What about my delivery orders?

ARDOIZA doesn't do delivery, and that is a deliberate choice. We focus on table booking and orders for collection (Click & Collect), with no commission. If you deliver through GloriaFood today, your customers won't be able to order delivery on ARDOIZA: keep your delivery solution for that, or offer collection instead.
